- Trading name: Jardins Abdel
- Area of activity: Girona and the surrounding area.
- Contact and rights requests: abdelghafour-mik@hotmail.com
- Telephone: +34 699 65 80 36
2. Data that may be processed
- Identity and contact details such as name, email address and telephone number.
- The content of enquiries, quotation requests and communications.
- Information needed to provide and invoice a service when it is contracted.
- Minimum technical data generated when visiting the website, such as IP address, browser, date, time and hosting security logs.
Data comes directly from the person concerned when they contact us by WhatsApp, email or telephone, and from technical logs needed to deliver and protect the website.
3. How the contact form works
The form fields are processed locally in your browser to prepare a message. When you press “Send via WhatsApp”, WhatsApp opens and you decide whether to send it. The website does not store the form content in its own database.
From that point, the communication is also governed by the WhatsApp privacy policy for the EEA.
4. Purposes and legal bases
- Answering enquiries and preparing quotations: taking pre-contractual steps requested by the person concerned (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Providing, managing and invoicing contracted services: performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)).
- Maintaining website security and availability: legitimate interest in preventing abuse, errors and unauthorised access (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Optional marketing communications: these would only be sent with prior consent where required (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). The website currently has no marketing subscription.
5. Recipients and service providers
Personal data is not sold. Where necessary, it may be accessed by:
- Vercel, as the website hosting and delivery provider.
- The email provider used to receive and reply to messages.
- WhatsApp Ireland Limited and its providers when a person chooses to communicate through WhatsApp.
- Professional advisers or suppliers where needed to manage the service.
- Public authorities where disclosure is legally required.
6. International transfers
Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, these transfers rely on adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other safeguards recognised by the GDPR. Vercel states that its primary infrastructure is in the United States and sets out these safeguards in its Data Processing Addendum. WhatsApp describes its transfers in the policy linked above.
7. Retention periods
- Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer them and provide the reasonably requested follow-up.
- If a service is contracted, data is kept during the relationship and then blocked for the applicable tax, accounting and liability periods.
- Technical logs are kept for the period needed for hosting security and operation.
8. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability of your data, withdraw consent without retroactive effect and object to automated decisions where applicable. To exercise these rights, email abdelghafour-mik@hotmail.com with your request. Reasonable information may be requested to verify your identity.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
9. Security, children and automated decisions
Reasonable measures are used to protect information and its use is limited to what is necessary. The website is not specifically directed at children and does not seek to collect their data. No profiling or automated decisions with legal effects are carried out.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if services, providers or legal requirements change. The date of the current version appears at the top of the page.
